Further, the company offers carbon fiber-reinforced carbon and felt products under the SIGRABOND, SIGRATHERM, and SIGRACELL brands for photovoltaic, semiconductor, glass and refractory, chemical and petrochemical, and energy storage industries, as well as for high temperature furnaces; carbon fibers under the PANOX, SIGRAFIL, and RECAFIL names; composite materials, including SIGRAPREG pre-impregnated, REFRASIL insulation, thermoplastic composite material, and thermal insulation products, as well as carbon, glass, and aramid fibers; and composite components, such as SIGRACOMP components and wet friction materials, brake and racing disks, and components for the automotive industry. Additionally, it offers fuel cell components and ceramic composites. SGL Carbon SE was founded in 1878 and is headquartered in Wiesbaden, Germany.
