Holy Innocents Children's Hospital Uganda Inc.

We’re a non-political, non-sectarian, faith-based organization which has built the first dedicated children’s hospital in Uganda to give ALL children the opportunity to survive and thrive, so they can participate in the growth and development of their beautiful country. We began in 2007, broke ground in 2008, opened in 2009 and have treated over 20,000 critically ill children in our in-patient hospital, along with over 100,000 more children in our out-patient facility. We are now working to build a surgical center for the hospital. Our hospital is 100% Ugandan-staffed and is 100% self-sufficient operationally. Volunteers from the US, Northern Ireland and elsewhere around the world have conducted over a dozen medical and teaching missions to the hospital. Organizations like Rotary International have provided needed equipment and projects to enhance the infrastructure of the hospital.
