Hydro Consult Engineering Limited (HCEL) is a leading consulting company of Nepal especially in hydropower sector, since the establishment of Butwal Power Company (parent company BPC) in 1966. BPC has acquired 80% share of HCEL on July 2009, which was established on March 1998 by People Energy and Environment Development Association (PEEDA). BPC has transferred its engineering consultancy business and BPC Hydroconsult’s goodwill to HCEL aiming to run the Engineering consultancy business as a separate entity. HCEL has inherited 26 years of professional experience from the BPC Hydroconsult.
