Ikast-Brande eSport was founded in March 2012. We started out as a Battlefield clan, but found out that the options were greater as a esports association. We are currently about 35 members spread across the country, but when we use TeamSpeak3 and play online distance no problem.
Ikast-Brande eSport is a member of eSport Denmark, Denmark eSport organization working to lift eSport to new heights.
Imagine a future Denmark with a national eSports arena, eSports centers and TV broadcast matches of the national league. The more members greater opportunity to seek and receive public funding. Support can be used for initiatives for members. It can be anything from supporting lending of computers and servers, bus to Danish or foreign LANs, legal contracts, organization of boot camp etc. There are many possibilities with a broad cooperation.
