At illumination we make things that solve problems. We are a social enterprise that produces pocket solar lights and chargers, small enough to fit in your pocket and rechargeable wherever there is sunlight.
We began operations in 2011 to provide energy to those 1.2 billion people around the world who do not have access to electricity.
Along our journey, we discovered that our products were also being used by people in developed countries looking to get away from it all. Our parents were camping, our friends were hiking, our brothers were fishing, our sisters were at music festivals and our Nanna’s needed a night light. Because anyone who finds themselves stuck without power has the same need. Our range of solar powered lights and chargers are designed to give you the freedom of access to energy wherever you are.
When you purchase one of our solar powered lights, we donate another light to a family who lives without electricity.
