Inge Retief is a registered dietitian with the HPCSA and ADSA. She is passionate about the profession and is one of the founders of the Hospital Dietitians Interest Group. Inge studied at the University of Pretoria and has a special interest in critical care. Other interests include working with inborn errors of metabolism, the ketogenic diet, breastfeeding and sports nutrition. Inge gained experience in the government setting, in the United Kingdom, has business experience from 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry working with critical care nutrition and in private practise. She presents regularly at National Congresses and has written numerous articles for magazines and scientific journals. She has also presented on radio shows. She is registered as a vitality dietitian.
