The Irish Skin Foundation is a relatively new organisation, having been founded in 2011 with the purpose of assisting patients with all forms of skin disease in Ireland.
Mission:
"is to support in all ways possible, to advocate on behalf of, to educate all involved with, and to bring comfort to those affected by skin disease in Ireland, their families and their carers "
Through our close collaboration with the Charles Institute of Dermatology at University College Dublin - a unique centre dedicated to research into skin disease - the Irish Skin Foundation intends to bring scientific advances for the treatment of skin disease to patients as quickly as possible – a process known as the ‘bench to bedside’ concept of translational medicine.
Non-Profit Organization Management
The NPO Management industry consists of non-profit organizations (NPOs) which rely on donations for their operational funds. NPOs may exist to provide assistance in areas such as healthcare, education or social welfare initiatives.
