Karis Community's mission is to provide a transitional community living opportunity for restoring basic life skills and improving the social well-being of individuals recovering from serious and persistent mental illness.
The goals of the Karis Community Empowerment Program are:

- To provide a positive environment for Community Members’ personal growth, self-reliance, and self-improvement.
- To help Community Members live an enjoyable and fulfilling life, at Karis and beyond.
