WHAT IS MHEALTH?
mHealth by Kiwok allows monitoring of patients with devices connected to the mobile network.
The benefits of moving some of the care processes closer to the patient are obvious, more efficient, faster and cheaper health care. The easiest way to handle welfare diseases is by preventive care and via monitoring of patients health. This can now be done remotely using a kit from Kiwok, BodyKom Mobile ECG Monitoring. The patient can stay in their normal environment while he/she is connected online and health data is communicated in real time to the health care provider through a small, handy and concealed equipment.
Kiwok has been developing BodyKom since 2004. The solution is patented in the US and patent applications are filed in a number of other countries. In 2009 Gartner found Kiwok to be the first and at that time the only commercial supplier in the world of Mobile Health.
