Kokon is een professioneel marktgericht architectenbureau dat bovendien gespecialiseerd is in stedenbouw. Het bureau is in 1975 opgericht - als voortzetting van het toenmalige bureau Van Tijen, Boom, Posno en van Randen - en staat thans onder leiding van architect-directeur ir Ron van Leeuwen.
Kokon is met name actief op het gebied van woningbouw, woonzorgprojecten en stedenbouw. Wij ontwerpen ondermeer voor woningbouwcorporaties, projectontwikkelaars, zorginstellingen, overheden en particulieren. Wij hebben architecten in dienst die over verschillende ontwerpstijlen beschikken. Hierdoor zijn wij van alle markten thuis.
Binnen Kokon spreken we de taal van de opdrachtgevers. Wij beschikken over een groot inlevingsvermogen in de belanghebbenden: wij werken snel en kostenbewust. We spelen in op veranderingen in de maatschappij en streven naar ontwerpen die een prettige woonomgeving waarborgen. In 2009 is een ontwerp van Kokon genomineerd voor de Nationale Renovatieprijs 2009.
