Lighthouse Foundation is dedicated to ending youth homelessness. We provide homeless young people, who come from backgrounds of long-term neglect and abuse, with a home, a family and around-the-clock therapeutic care. The Lighthouse Model of Care supports young people aged between 15 and 22. We are accredited to provide homelessness services by the Quality Improvement Council (QICSA).
An attachment focused and trauma informed organisation, evidence based practice guides all aspects of our operations. We are independent and non-denominational.
The Lighthouse Model of Care is provided by our highly trained carers and clinicians in ten unidentifiable homes across metropolitan and regional Victoria. Our service is focused on a young person's trauma recovery. It focuses on each young person's health, education, self-identity, relationships, social skills, emotional development and self-care.
