PRESENTATION Ljudska univerza Celje is a public institution for adult education. Its origin goes back to 1921; this year also marks the beginning of organized adult education in Celje. Ljudska univerza Celje as it is known today was established in 1997. Ljudska univerza Celje sees the purpose and vision of its service in its state-of-the-art educational centre which will be able to follow all novelties in the field of education, and will thus be able to offer people education in terms of life-long learning. Ljudska univerza Celje offers a range of formal educational programmes as well as non-formal ones. Particularly well visited among the non-formal programmes are foreign language courses (of both, general and professional language) and various workshops (for example, workshops regarding accounting, rhetoric, communication, personal and business growth etc.).
