LUCKY 8 is an unscripted television production company committed to creating highly entertaining content that’s as smart as it is surprising. We’re dedicated to telling immersive, first person stories driven by real people tackling real life head-on.
Our story began 8 years ago when Kim Woodard launched National Geographic Television’s New York office, bringing on George Kralovansky and Isaac Holub that first year. Together the three helped create 100+ hours of programming and a string of record-rating series for National Geographic Channel, including Brain Games, Border Wars, and Lockdown, garnering several Emmy nominations along the way.
Opportunities to create programming for other networks set us on a new path. We began collaborating with Greg Henry, Co-Founder of Part2 Pictures and Executive Producer of over a hundred hours of reality programming, including the hit series Off the Hook and Hard Time.
