Memo helps elders with memory loss remember important information and provides their caregivers with a simple way to post messages and reminders. Family members and other caregivers can update information remotely, from any location where they have internet access, 24/7. The elder needs no computer experience or technical skills at all - if they can watch a TV, they can use a Memo.
The Memo software was built on a ten-inch Android tablet. In addition to the day, date, time and messages, caregivers can add a calendar, a To Do list, the weather, phone numbers, and photo albums - whatever is appropriate for the cognitive abilities of the person they care for. Because all caregivers can see the postings of others, the device can help coordinate care among several family members and professional caregivers.
