Meridian Sod Farm is located in Indianapolis, Indiana. We specialize in growing, harvesting, and delivering top quality turfgrass for landscapers, schools, municipalities, and other individuals’ construction projects. Meridian Sod Farm is currently the only sod farm with sod fields within Marion County. One of the great advantages for our customers is our location. We are conveniently located just west of Indianapolis International Airport in the Ameriplex complex, on the south side of I-70. Turfgrass is most susceptible to degradation immediately following the harvesting process. It is imperative that sod be installed as quickly after harvesting as possible, to minimize the amount of stress on the grass plants. The longer harvested sod sits on a truck, the more likely the sod will be damaged. Having sod fields so close to major highways reduces the risk, and helps ensure customers are given the freshest sod possible.
