Metron ist ein unabhängiges Dienstleistungsunternehmen für die Fachbereiche Architektur, Raumentwicklung, Verkehr, Landschaft und Umwelt. Metron entstand 1965 aus der Überzeugung, dass ganzheitliche Lösungsansätze eine intensive interdisziplinäre Zusammenarbeit bedingen. Heute vereinigt Metron rund 135 Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter aus über 30 Berufen.
Beratung, Forschung, Planung und Realisierung gehören zu unserem Tätigkeitsgebiet. In der Auseinandersetzung mit neuen Aufgaben und Themen, aber auch in der Weiterentwicklung von Produkten und Dienstleistungen hinsichtlich ökologischer, ökonomischer und sozialer Gesichtspunkte, setzen wir uns dafür ein, dass die Prinzipien der Nachhaltigkeit konsequent angewendet werden.
Metron mit Hauptsitz in Brugg und Zweigbüros in Bern und Zürich arbeitet für ein breites Spektrum von öffentlichen und privaten Kunden im In- und Ausland.
Architecture, Design and Construction
Architects design buildings and the spaces around buildings. They work for individuals, companies and governments, from small scale projects like private houses to large scale projects like office complexes and shopping centers. Architects do not only design the building itself, but also the landscape around it, from how the building will be positioned on the plot and how it will interact with its surroundings. Architects also need to consider the purpose of the building, the materials used for its construction and the impact the building will have on its environment.
