In 1992, the original Mimmo’s was born from a dream of following in my family’s footsteps of owning a restaurant. Coming from a long line of restaurateurs, I shared their dream of opening a restaurant to express my love of food with a combination of family recipes, innovative ideas, and with only the highest quality ingredients. Through the years, Mimmo’s became synonymous with excellence. Subsequently, with thanks to you, our business grew and my customers became friends.
After selling Mimmo’s in 2006, to have more time to raise my family, my love of restaurateuring never left and I itched to get back to the service-oriented restaurant business. I’ve always loved Elmhurst and wanted to open another local restaurant that catered to those ‘friends’ I’d come to know at the original location.
