The mozaiq operations gmbh (mozaiq.io) is an international joint venture of ABB, Bosch, and Cisco Systems and provides an open platform for manufacturers as well as developers in the field of smart homes. The goal of the company is to accelerate interoperability in the smart home market and thus speed up the market for attractive and cross-manufacturer use cases. Simple, cross-manufacturer data exchange between different devices, applications, and services used by the end user is enabled by the mozaiq platform and the corresponding backend, whilst meeting the highest safety standards. In the process, the cross-system platform is open to any complementary smart home solutions. The joint venture based in Eschborn was founded in March 2015. With its platform, the company is primarily targeting smart home, telecommunications and energy management providers, manufacturers of white and brown goods, software and service providers as well as app developers with the aim of serving the global market.
