Tielt-Winge is een Vlaams-Brabantse gemeente in het hartje van het Hageland. Ze ligt tussen Leuven en Diest en telt meer dan 10 000 inwoners. De gemeente bestaat uit de deelgemeenten Tielt, Houwaart, Meensel-Kiezegem en Sint-Joris-Winge.
De belangrijkste troef van het Hageland is zonder twijfel het landschap. In Tielt-Winge golft het landschap lichtjes met heuvelruggen die zich uitstrekken van west naar oost. Op zeer veel plaatsen, zoals langs holle wegen, kunt u er ijzerzandsteen aantreffen. Vanuit het toeristische centrum Huize Hageland in Tielt kunt u verschillende wandelingen maken om de streek te ontdekken. In het verlengde van de tuin van Huize Hageland staat er een uitkijktoren.
Tielt-Winge is vooral gekend voor zijn wijn- en fruitteelt. Na een fikse wandeling moet u zeker eens proeven van een glaasje frisse Hagelandse wijn. U kunt een afspraak maken bij een van de wijnproducenten voor een bezoek aan een wijngaard en een wijndegustatie.
