NCCJ St. Louis incorporated as an independent 501(c)(3) in September 2005, having operated continuously as the regional office of the National Conference for Community and Justice since 1930. The parent organization founded as the National Conference of Christians and Jews in 1927, and NCCJ St. Louis continues the work it began then: the advancement of amity, peace and justice and bringing together diverse people to strengthen intergroup relations.
