Perhaps best known for our races, NYRR holds over 50 events a year including the New York City Marathon. We draw runners from all walks of life including novice, recreational, celebrities and elite athletes plus have over 60,000 members nationwide! Our passion lies in our mission – to make running accessible to everyone! That is why, in addition to our races and group training, we have a Youth and Community Services arm which is really the heart of our organization. We’re passionate about bringing the best possible running experience to all our members but we are truly moved by the work we are able to do for our communities. Currently serving over 215,000 children, we bring free running and wellness programs to students, seniors and families fostering physical fitness, character development and personal empowerment.
