Om flexibel te kunnen inspelen op een veranderde marktvraag werkt Obbe Norbruis, samen met anderen, vanuit zijn eigen bureau. Gedetacheerd en/of vanaf de eigen werkplek staat hij gemeentes, ontwikkelaars en particulieren slagvaardig bij van ‘idee tot bouwplan’. Zonder hoge kosten worden de kansen en mogelijkheden op verschillende schaalniveaus verkend. Waar mogelijk wordt dat beeldend gedaan om er snel achter te komen of een oplossingsrichting kansrijk en/of verantwoord is.
Norbruis Stedebouw & Advies werkt op elk schaalniveau en door alle schalen heen. Dat gebeurt binnen een netwerk waarin iedereen elkaars kwaliteiten kent. Doet zich een vraag voor die een ander beter kan beantwoorden dan worden lijnen uitgezet naar specialisten die we uit ervaring kennen. Afhankelijk van de aard van de opdracht worden adviezen ingewonnen bij; een (landschaps)architect, verkeerskundige, planoloog, cultuurhistoricus of bij iemand uit de civiel techniek.
