I have photographed images from many places around the world, with special attention to Italy, as well as many of the United States, focusing on Utah and Arizona. My favorite place to photograph in the United States is Arches Park near Moab, Utah. My philosophy regarding photography and art in general is that nature is the ultimate in providing art forms and that anything in nature can look beautiful if presented that way. I especially favor unusual views of usual items, including everyday items and like to show them in a natural environment. Alternatively my images represent small slices of larger scenes that often are not recognizable as their real life embodiment. I have extended my photographic endeavors into watercolor and collage and lately into screen printing (serigraphy) and using the encaustic medium. The latter allows me to incorporate features of all the other art forms I practice.
