Novalis® Innovative Flooring began making LVT in 1984 and is in over 50 countries across six continents in a variety of award-winning commercial spaces and homes.
Milestones for Novalis
1984: Founded in Hong Kong, China
1987: Established the first vinyl flooring factory in China
1988: Became the first ISO9001 certified vinyl flooring factory in China
2001: Opened North America headquarters in Toronto, Ontario, Canada
2003: Established second manufacturing facility specializing in the production of premium vinyl flooring
and capacity expansion
2005: Opened sales office in Charlotte, North Carolina
2009: Opened sales office in Bonn, Germany
2010: Achieved ISO14001, FloorScore and German DiBT Certification
2012: Achieved OHSAS18001 Certification
2014: Became the first EPD and HPD certified vinyl-flooring factory in China. Achieved GreenStep Asia Award
in the category of “Green Process”
2015: Achieved GreenStep Asia Awards in two categories: “Best Green Pinnacle”
