Novus Architects, Inc. is a Mount Pleasant, South Carolina based firm specializing in many architectural and interior design project types. We design everything from Healthcare to Hospitality and are registered in numerous states throughout our great nation.
We have built our company on long-lasting relationships with clients because we firmly believe that the success of any project is second only to our clients' satisfaction. We are dedicated to providing our clients with a new approach to architecture and interior design as reflected in our name - Novus.
In 2009 we changed our former company's name, SGM Architects, to Novus because we felt it better reflected our philosophy of architecture and our firm culture. The Latin word "novus" is interpreted as new, novel, revived or extraordinary and to Novus that means to look at every project as something new, including new challenges and opportunities. To our clients, this means detailed, quality work on their spaces, resulting in architectural solutions
Architecture, Design and Construction

They work for individuals, companies and governments, from small scale projects like private houses to large scale projects like office complexes and shopping centers. Architects do not only design the building itself, but also the landscape around it, from how the building will be positioned on the plot and how it will interact with its surroundings. Architects also need to consider the purpose of the building, the materials used for its construction and the impact the building will have on its environment.
