One Space was founded by two senior professionals, Greg Pearce a licensed architect and
James Oliver a technology professional. The One Space team is dedicated to the design and delivery of comfortable, well-integrated office & trading floor environments, under a single point of responsibility.
Greg and James forged a strong and complementary professional relationship when they recognised the inefficiencies present in traditional procurement of financial trading floor fit-out projects. The highly desirable synergy between technology and architecture seems instead often mired in adversarial relationships leaving important coordination issues to be addressed too late or not at all.
By contrast, One Space believes in a collaborative approach, which fully understands the needs and intentions of the client, combined with a rigorous design methodology to deliver coordinated high-quality space on time
Architecture, Design and Construction
Architects design buildings and the spaces around buildings. They work for individuals, companies and governments, from small scale projects like private houses to large scale projects like office complexes and shopping centers. Architects do not only design the building itself, but also the landscape around it, from how the building will be positioned on the plot and how it will interact with its surroundings. Architects also need to consider the purpose of the building, the materials used for its construction and the impact the building will have on its environment.
