50 years ago a local family began to foster children with developmental disabilities. As this family grew, Our Lady of the Wayside was established and has grown into a twenty-six million dollar agency that provides services in Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina and Summit Counties. Residential services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week at our 75 neighborhood homes. Our Lady of the Wayside provides residential, transportation and day programming services for children and adults with developmental disabilities. Individuals served by The Wayside have a variety of developmental disabilities including cerebral palsy, autism, behavioral issues and significant physical disabilities.
