Procesadora Ganadera Entrerriana S.A. (No. Est. 1930), está situada en San José de Provincia de Entre Ríos, a 300 km de la capital federal. El lugar del establecimiento tiene una altura de 18 mts sobre el mar y está cerca del Río Uruguayo. La planta se fundó el año 1954, tiene una superficie de 60 hectáreas, entre las cuales la zona de producción ocupa 30, hasta hoy día hay aprox. 300 empleados trabajando para dicha planta, en cuento a su tamaño, es uno de los establecimientos más grandes del país. Mediante la inversión de Swift, JBS, el Gobierno Provincial de Entre Ríos, se reformó constantemente el proceso productivo, mantiene el nivel líder del sector y aprobó los certificados de U.E., América, Asia, África entre otros países y regiones. El 2014 el establecimiento fue adquirido por capital china, a partir de su momento, empezó la producción especializada con destino de este país.
