Project WELL (Women Empowered by Life-long Learning) is a non-profit society incorporated in 2014 to help mature, female students realize their dreams of further education. It is a 100% volunteer run society.
Project WELL was established in response to the difficulties and endless red tape faced by these women when looking for funding to further their education. Many people’s dreams are crushed, and many worthy people never get to contribute fully to society, because of these financial barriers.
The Project WELL Society founders resolved to make a positive change in the world by setting up an independent fund to help deserving women achieve their full potential. Project WELL’s mission is to allow these women to reach their goals, lead independent and productive lives, and be able to give back to their communities both with their skills and their financial success.
The society is currently raising funds to help its first recipient attend medical school.
But it’s also the start of something much big
