Perseroan berdiri pada tanggal 11 Juni 1990 di Jakarta dengan nama awal PT Kridaperdana Indahgraha, kemudian berubah menjadi PT Global Land Development Tbk pada 27 September 2007, sebelum akhirnya menjadi PT MNC LAND Tbk pada 11 Juni 2012. Pada 30 Maret 2000, Perseroan resmi menjadi perusahaan publik dan mencatatkan sahamnya di Bursa Efek Jakarta (sekarang Bursa Efek Indonesia).
Sejak tahun 2007 Perseroan telah bergiat melakukan ekspansi usaha melalui berbagai akuisisi dan investasi kepemilikan saham, sehingga saat ini telah memiliki sejumlah Entitas Anak yaitu PT GLD Property, PT Swarna Citra Sentosa, PT Investasi Karya Gemilang, PT Investasi Hasil Sejahtera, PT Global Jasa Sejahtera, PT Nusadua Graha International dan PT Bali Nirwana Resort, serta Entitas Asosiasi yaitu PT Aston Inti Makmur dan PT Plaza Indonesia Realty. Secara garis besar, jenis kegiatan usaha yang dilakukan Perseroan dan Entitas Anak/Asosiasi dapat dikategorikan sebagai berikut: (a) Pembangunan properti; (b) Penyewaan ruang kantor/bisn
