RAICES is a BIA-recognized, 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has provided immigration legal services and education to immigrants, including Lawful Permanent Residents for more than 25 years. Since 1991, RAICES has employed licensed attorneys and is currently funded for 21 full-time staff attorneys, 5 Fully BIA accredited and 1 BIA partially-accredited representatives and 15 legal assistants dedicated exclusively to the provision of immigration representation and education to underserved immigrant children, families and refugees in Central and South Texas. RAICES has two offices in San Antonio,TX with one office located within one block of the San Antonio USCIS District Office and Application Support Center, and the other located close to the downtown EOIR Immigration Court. In addition, RAICES has offices in Austin, TX and Corpus Christi, TX. RAICES attorneys and accredited representatives enter their appearances on behalf of clients with USCIS, EOIR and in Texas state courts.
