Reading Partners empowers community volunteers to provide one-on-one reading instruction to elementary school students reading below grade level to help them succeed in reading and in life.
We are a national education nonprofit working with Title I elementary schools to support students who are reading six months to two-and-a-half years below grade-level. Reading Partners recruits and trains community volunteers to deliver a highly effective, research-validated curriculum..
In the 2014-15 school year, Reading Partners recruited more than 12,000 volunteers who worked one-on-one with students to help them increase their literacy skills and succeed in reading.

• Reading Partners received a highly competitive growth investment from the Edna McConnell Clark Foundation and the Social Innovation Fund. Reading Partners is also managing a second Social Innovation Fund sub-grant supported by Mile High United Way in Colorado.
