Based in Hitchin, Rhythms of the World is a registered charity set up to unite communities through the Arts.
We achieve this by organising an annual festival of music, dance and cuisine from 'around the World and round the corner' and by running an Outreach Programme which takes the ethos and energy of the festival out to groups that might not otherwise experience it. Our Outreach Programme involves the elderly, children and young people and those with disabilities and special needs. The Festival attracts up to 30,000 people over one weekend to experience 125 acts across six stages.
