On July 17, 1954, Robert P. Madison opened an office for the practice of architecture and engineering in Cleveland, Ohio. This was the first architectural firm established by an African-American in the State of Ohio and the tenth in the entire United States.
Robert P. Madison has three Senior Associates who have been with him a minimum of 20 years each and have dedicated themselves to the success of major projects in the City of Cleveland.
Kevin Madison, Sandra Madison and Robert Klann have been part of a Cleveland Renaissance and look forward to continued participation in Cleveland's future.
Robert P. Madison International, Inc. in the past 20 years guided by the Senior Associates have compiled an impressive portfolio for a wide variety of projects in the public sector as Prime Architect, Architect of Record, or as an Associate Architect. These projects include;
