Safehotels Alliance AB is an International certification, training and consultancy company for the hospitality industry. Safehotels is the originator, developer and initiator of the The Global Hotel Security Standard ©. The standard was developed in response to demand from the Travel Management Industry and hotel room buyers for a consistent, minimum, readily identifiable and measurable standard of safety and security in hotels. The purpose of the standard is to make it easier to award and recognize hotels investing in, operating and maintaining a level of safety and security, which in turn is recognized by hotel guests, hotel room buyers, the Travel Management Industry, hotel owners and operators. The Global Hotel Security Standard© consists of 210+ safety and security standard elements organized within 6 sections relating to: Hotel Property Walkthrough - Process, Procedures, Training and Organization - Security Equipment - Fire Equipment - Fire Training - Crisis Management.
