Sastra Robotics India Pvt Ltd is a technology and robotics company located at Kochi, India. The company was founded in the middle of 2012 by Aronin P, Akhil A & Achu Wilson and incorporated in August 2013. We are a bunch of energetic, enthusiastic and talented engineers with a passion for robotics. We were selected as one of the Top 5 Most Promising Start-Ups of 2012 by Startup Village and Top 10 Most Promising Early stage Start-Ups of 2014 by TiE Bangalore. We aim to develop and market novel and high end robotics technologies for a wide range of applications aimed at the welfare of humanity. We believe that the coexistence of humans and intelligent machines is the next step of evolution.
RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
The company’s major research and development is focusing on ‘’Smart Robotic Manipulators’’ and sub researches going on in the fields of ‘’Mobile Robots, Tele-presence Robots, Robot Interfacing and Simulation Software, Robot APIs, Open source Robotic libraries and Prosthetic Robotic Arm’’.
