SFU Community Trust is charged with the development of UniverCity as a model sustainable community. UniverCity is located on top of Burnaby Mountain, adjacent to Simon Fraser University. The Trust has implemented Canada's first comprehensive green building bylaw, and in 2010 opened a LEED Gold Elementary School, a LEED Silver mixed-use building, and started construction of Canada's first Living Building - the SFU Childcare Facility.
Architecture, Design and Construction
