Sheehan Partners, ltd. was founded in 2004 to provide architectural services that combine a keen awareness of our clients’ business needs with innovative design solutions and a practical understanding of construction requirements.
We are a Chicago based architecture firm with a nationwide practice. Our staff of thirty-five work in a collaborative environment with everyone in the firm actively involved in the design details and the day to day planning and execution of each of our projects. We relish the details inherent in our work and constantly seek to refine our design solutions and the tools we use to communicate those solutions.
Our work has been recognized with Distinguished Building Awards and Interior Design Awards by AIA Chicago.
Architecture, Design and Construction
Architects design buildings and the spaces around buildings. They work for individuals, companies and governments, from small scale projects like private houses to large scale projects like office complexes and shopping centers. Architects do not only design the building itself, but also the landscape around it, from how the building will be positioned on the plot and how it will interact with its surroundings. Architects also need to consider the purpose of the building, the materials used for its construction and the impact the building will have on its environment.
