Shejumps

MISSION: to increase the participation of women and girls in outdoor activities. SheJumps offers free and low-cost access to outdoor education and activities for women and girls of all backgrounds, ages, and abilities. Our vision is to offer technical education for women to feel more self-sufficient in the backcountry. Our program services include: Outdoor Education, Community Initiatives, the Alpine Finishing School (a ski mountaineering course for women), and Wild Skills: a free day camp for girls to learn outdoor survival skills that encourage adventure and build confidence. SheJumps is almost entirely volunteer-run. Despite limited resources, we successfully hosted 154 events in 2015 that created more than 3,000 new opportunities for women and girls to get outside and play.
