Shreve Memorial Library is a 21-branch library system located in Shreveport, Louisiana. It's been around since 1923. We have branches throughout the city and Caddo Parish.
When I first started, the card catalogue was "THE THING" now it is "HISTORY". I did have the joy of imputing many books and VHS tapes into the system. Now the VHS has gone the way of the dinosaur and DVDs & CDs have come into play. The SML system is constantly changing to meet the needs of the public. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
