Much like their buildings and developments, brothers Eric Silverman and Paul Silverman are treasured fixtures in Jersey City. In 1981, Eric and Paul began their careers with the renovation of a dilapidated 15 unit apartment building in Jersey City’s Paulus Hook neighborhood. In 2012, they built GP's Restaurant, completing the 25,000 square foot retail component of Hamilton Square, a 300 unit mixed use residential development at the site of the former St. Francis Hospital. SILVERMAN has restored historic landmarks, championed the development of mixed-use buildings, attracted commercial and industrial tenants to Hudson County, invested in micro-brewery New Jersey Beer Company, and brought creative new retail ventures to Jersey City, creating over 1000 residences and over 500,000 square feet of commercial and light industrial spaces.
