About Singapore River One Ltd
Singapore River One (SRO) is a not-for profit place management organisation led by private sector stakeholders. It was borne in April 2012 out of a business consultancy process commissioned by the Urban Redevelopment Authority. The process led to a 5-year business plan for the River – one that will enhance and promote the River while celebrating its competitive attribute, History, Water and Diversity of Offerings.
SRO is charged with the place management of the Singapore River which includes promoting the precinct (Boat Quay, Clarke Quay and Robertson Quay), organizing events, enhancing the public realm and policy and advocacy. Through these efforts, we aim to leverage public and private investments, boost business, increase footfall, and enhance property values within the Singapore River precinct.
