Swedish architect, artist and researcher Fredrik Skåtar explores structures created by nature, highlighting how they have emerged, and materializes such findings as sculptures, drawings, industrial design or architecture.
Based on Fredrik's expertise in art production, project management, creating complex geometry and visualizatiuon, his studio often collaborates with other studios and/or supports them as a consultant.
Fredrik Skåtar started his studio in Berlin in 2010. Since 2012 he is also a PhD researcher within the field of architecture at the Faculty of Engineering (LTH), Lund University, focusing on the development and application of generative design tools. Previously, Fredrik Skåtar worked four years as a project manager at Studio Olafur Eliasson GmbH where he was involved in the design, planning and realization of several exhibitions, installations and art pieces. He has also worked for Tema Architects, White Architects and collaborated with Ralph Appelbaum, Institut für Raumexperimente, Art
