Southern University began its life as an Institute in the year of 1998. Later, in the year 2003, with the demand of situations Mr.Sarwar Jahan & Mrs. Ishrat Jahan established Southern University Bangladesh by the Government approval under the private Universities act.
Southern University offers higher educational programs in Business , English, Law, Computer Science & IT, Pharmacy, Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Religion under three separate faculties namely(i) Faculty of Business Administration ,(ii) Faculty of Arts, Social Science & Law and (iii)Faculty of Science & Engineering. All academic disciplines, programs have been carefully designed in keeping with the needs of job market at home & abroad.
