Mission:The mission of St. Patrick Senior Center is to provide a safe, healthy, and activity filled environment for seniors residing in the metropolitan Detroit area, dedicated to the empowerment of senior citizens and addressing their various needs to continue leading productive and fulfilling lives. Our aim is to enhance the quality of life for older adults desiring to live independent lifestyles in a structured environment and supportive group setting. History: The Center is a membership-directed organization and is open to anyone age 60 and older for $5 per year. St. Patrick Senior Center (SPSC) currently serves over 2000 older adults annually. The Center has a long history of developing and maintaining strong relationships and building partnerships among the businesses and institutions in the area. In an effort to address the growing population of early retirees of the "baby boomer" generation (those born between 1946and 1964), SPSC implemented a program for those aged 55-59.
