Missie
Stichting GetOn is opgericht in 2005 met als doel kansarme mensen in ontwikkelingslanden te ondersteunen bij hun streven naar economische, sociale, emotionele en geestelijke zelfstandigheid. GetOn geeft geen geld zomaar weg, maar helpt hen die geholpen willen worden door te ondersteunen, faciliteren en (mede-)financieren.
Visie
Ieder mens verdient een toekomst, een bestaan, een kans om zich vrij te maken van honger, armoede en ziekte. Vanuit deze visie wil GetOn bijdragen aan een betere en kansrijke toekomst voor kansarme mensen in ontwikkelingslanden.
Stichting GetOn ondersteunt daartoe lokale initiatieven die bijdragen aan de mogelijkheden tot ontwikkeling van - in het bijzonder - vrouwen en kinderen in ontwikkelingslanden. De voorkeur wordt gegeven aan initiatieven die de mogelijkheid bieden zelfvoorzienend te worden.
