Sumo Capital was founded in 2007 as a proprietary trading firm with a focus on exchange-listed Equity and Equity Index Options. It has since evolved into a multi-strategy JBO committed to providing a profitable environment for firm- and self-funded Proprietary and Market Maker Trading. Based in Chicago with offices in New York, we support strategies across every national market.
Sumo is focused on a high level of risk management standards, compliance monitoring, and IT and software support. We have a rigorous screening process to ensure all members have the track record and ability to stay within our risk and compliance standards. We pride ourselves on the support each individual trader receives.
