Tengizchevroil, LLP is a Kazakhstani joint venture created to develop the Tengiz field in the Atyrau region of Kazakhstan. Tengizchevroil (TCO) produces oil, gas, LPG and sulfur.
In 2011, TCO produced almost with 26 million tonnes of crude oil and is Kazakhstan’s largest producer and marketer of oil and gas. TCO has contributed more than $60 billion to Kazakhstani entities and more than $700 million for social investment over its 19-year history.
Partners include Chevron, 50%; KazMunaiGas, 20%; ExxonMobil, 25% and LukArco, 5%.
