Terra Ether Architects are a Johannesburg based architectural practice that was founded by Bu Mochela, Nazim Jawoodeen & Avish Mistry in June 2001 with the vision of creating architecture that is enduring, innovative and that has imaginative spirit.
We have since inception been fortunate in being provided with the opportunities for engagement with a diverse range of projects and clientele.
Our body of work includes large commercial projects, medical centres, social and luxury housing, hospitals, community facilities, schools, landscape architecture and sports and recreational facilities.
Architecture, Design and Construction
Architects design buildings and the spaces around buildings. They work for individuals, companies and governments, from small scale projects like private houses to large scale projects like office complexes and shopping centers. Architects do not only design the building itself, but also the landscape around it, from how the building will be positioned on the plot and how it will interact with its surroundings. Architects also need to consider the purpose of the building, the materials used for its construction and the impact the building will have on its environment.
