***Racecourse of the Year 2016*** Galway Racecourse is host to twelve days of super horse racing in 2017. The racecourse plays host to one of the greatest race meetings in the world, the famous and iconic Galway Races Summer Festival, that boasts seven days of superb horse racing, hospitality, entertainment, stunning fashion and an electric atmosphere that continues to draw people from Ireland and abroad to experience for themselves the magic that is the Galway Races. The Galway Races takes place over seven days, Monday 31st July to Sunday 6th August 2017. The racecourse offers a great selection of hospitality facilities for entertaining and continually strives to offer the race goer a wonderful race day experience.
